Meet the newest member of the SEN studios team. Un Meet the newest member of the SEN studios team. Unfortunately, we don’t have a name for her yet, but we are so excited to welcome her! She is a Cavapoo, so she is hypoallergenic, she doesn’t shed… and she’ll only stay around 10 pounds! We are torn between two names… so please vote below to help us decide!
These last few weeks I have received so many messa These last few weeks I have received so many messages like these. For me, the motivation to everything I do is to make the people that come through our doors (or purchase our online classes) feel their inner confidence grow. It’s probably a response to some inner childhood trauma how much I care that people feel powerful, like I absolutely genuinely fucking care! I want people to wake up, paint a face and go play in the arena of “I feel great”. I love watching people show up, face the world, and face themselves confidently, because to me that is the entirety of what beauty is! When you look at yourself and you say “I’m perfectly imperfect”, a true belief that you are enough! Anyways, thanks guys for reminding me that the crusade I’m battling is winning even if it’s just to the few of you ❤️🙏🏽

Teaching your tweens about makeup isn’t the same a Teaching your tweens about makeup isn’t the same as encouraging them to wear makeup. I get comments under my juniors posts that are like… “I didn’t wear makeup until I was 20” “Too much…too young” “We should be teaching our kids about XYZ instead” The goal of our Sen Junior’s class is not to teach teenagers how to wear a full face of Makeup. In fact, all classes at Sen focus less on how much you wear, but rather being confident with what you choose to wear. Understanding application techniques and learning about your eye shape, skin tone, face shape are building blocks to having a healthy relationship with cosmetics. Covering lots, wearing lots, and hiding is the exact opposite of our message. We want there to be some fun in the artistry, some fundamental information on what does what, and what goes where! We hope we make the journey with cosmetics feel empowering ❤️ Side note…most of my juniors classes end with the mom booking a lesson for herself because you would be surprised how many of us are out there trying to figure this stuff out on our own
